Hello NHOC Alums!

As the current Alumni Advisor for the NHOC, I figured I should probably put a post in our Alumni section in order to introduce myself to those I don't know and to say hello to those I do!

I graduated from UNH in 2006, after five years as an undergrad, with a degree in Outdoor Education and a degree in English. I am currently pursuing graduate school for non-fiction writing here at UNH, so I'm still taking classes and still very much involved in the club. My eventual goal is to combine the outdoors and writing.

As the Alumni Advisor, I see myself having two different jobs. First off, as someone who has been around for a while I serve as a voice of experience to the club for ideas, how to go about doing something, or simply to answer questions. Second, I act as a liaison between the current club and the alumni. Actually, both of my parents were in the NHOC when they were students at UNH back in the 70's and they're both lifetime members, though neither of them were nearly as involved as I am. But technically I am second generation....
