Though many of you probably already know this, I thought I'd throw in my two cents, and say Mountain Hardwear makes some great gear. My pair of Powerstretch gloves, that I've had for a few months now, have rarley left my pocket, and have stood up in such extreme conditions as the slopes at Cannon, the summit of Washington, and the stretch of path in front of Kingsbury. There has been much talk through the club, about the Exposure II Parka, steming from a post Phil made heaping it with explatives like "bombproof". Having been in search of a waterproof jacket, and finding a deal I couldn't pass up, I now posess one of these wonder-jackets (note to Jake and Eric, mine is blue, so if you guys ended up getting one as well, kindly go buy a can of spray paint). I haven't abused it too much yet, but it survived the 20 ft journey from the car to house. Anyone else with similar experiences with MoHa (figure I'd try it out) gear feel free to share them here

Mountain Hardwear is amazing dan. i pretty much live in it and patagonia with a few pieces of arc'teryx and north face mixed in here and there. But as i said in my previous post about the exposure II jacket all of Mtn Hardwear's gear is pretty bomb proof.

My first piece of mtn hardwear was the Chill factor fleece jacket back in 04 before they discontinued it. I rocked this jacket everyday in high school and have worn the cuffs out on the sleeves and still rock it and love it these days. I CANT DESTROY IT! It's a 200 weight bi-polor jacket and awesome. It was brought back in 05 / 06 for a limited edition run and is no longer available, but if you can find it at a gear store in the consignment section or some place and it's in good condition grab it! It's the classic mtn hardwear fleece jacket. Just like the shinchilla or Retro Jackets are the classic Patagonia Fleece Jackets.

I have a syncro jacket which i've had since it came out back in 05 and its amazing, ive beat the shit out of it and it still goes its the best h20 and windproof soft shells ive owned.

exposure II jacket once again bombproof, ive had mine since 04 and its still going.

my regular winter jacket which ive had since 05 and is no longer made by mtn hardwear is pretty awesome. i found it in my closet at home over thanksgiving break and its amazing. haven't put it through too much but im hoping this winter will really test it out.

I've had about 3 different lightweight rain jackets 2 Epic Jackets and 1 Cohession jacket from mountain hardwear and i've destroyed them completely to the point where they cannot be re-waterproofed and the guys at mountain hardwear think im crazy. But those jackets are amazing summer jackets for backpacking and trekking around doing whatever you do. the Cohession is my fav, its really short, only waist leingth and its a bit thicker then the Epic. The epic is a little longer but still an awesome buy. I recommend both.

my most recent mtn hardwear addition was a pair of syncro pants and they are amazing for all winter wear, you def get cookin in them a good pant to wear after being out in the cold for a while and need to warm up in. the almost full zip legs are awesome for getting them on and off with boots on. the belt loops are key. and wearing a pair of long johns or fleece pants or ski tights under them is a def plus and nice treat when its really really cold out.

So I've pretty much worn the majority of the classic mountain hardwear jackets and can say that they are an amazing and i highly recommend their gear. They stand behind it and are always helpful.

Mountain Hardwear is definitely awesome. I've got their Epic Jacket along with several long sleeve polypro shirts and a fleece hat. There's so much gear I want from them, including Synchro softshell pants, an Exposure II parka (just a heads up, I'm planning on going with green), a fleece vest, a down jacket, maybe a down vest, and perhaps a Synchro jacket. And that's just clothing. I also am interested in one of their tents, a couple of their sleeping bags, and probably many other things. It's basically a wish list at this point, but I hope I can slowly start acquiring some of the items I want. (Naturally, I have everything I need and have for quite some time now, but of course there's always more gear that I want!)

Unfortunately it all costs money and I'm still in the market for a laptop, so for the moment my wish list is remaining a wish list. Unless, of course, I happen to come across some sort of crazy deal I just can't pass up. Speaking of which, have you had any luck with the Mountain Hardwear pro deal, Phill?

Any chance we could contact Mountain Hardwear and get a pro deal going? It's fine if we can't, but if we can it would be sweet.

I'd rather have someone younger head it up so they can experience it. Any volunteers?

Well everyone, I just pulled the trigger on a Mtn. Hdwr. Exposure II parka. I was tempted by the red one but in the end I went with blue (sorry Dan). I'm sure it will work great with my Sub-Zero down jacket!

I burned my REI dividend and the 20% off coupon that came with it, so I saved almost $50.

Hmmm, let's see....I've got green, Eric has gray, Dan and Jake have blue....anyone have red? And Phill, what color is your Exposure II?

I think it would be pretty sweet to have all the colors represented in the picture!
